Wild West Fest

We live in a small town. Our neighborhood is newly developed, so it doesn't feel too podunk, until you start to see signs going up around this time of the year for Haslet's Wild West Fest. Drew and I happened upon this event last year and got a kick out of seeing the rodeo portion of it. We laughed so hard when we saw little boys all dressed up in chaps hop on bucking sheep as though they were bulls! We must have talked it up a little too much, because this year Kellye said she'd be game for going with us to this annual affair. It was fun, but we didn't last long after our last bight of sno-cones as it was hot, Kellye is preggo, and Grayson was done with it and ready to go to bed...aka FUSSY! We enjoyed what little bit of Haslet Wild West Fest we got and will surely make an appearance there again next year if we can help it!
